Very close to Inca for all your essentials. Situated by the mountains, very picturesque and an ideal location to visit all points of interest in Mallorca, although a car is needed.

The local town was Inca, which is an absolute nightmare to drive around in order to get to either Palma or Acuidia. The one way system is great if everyone adheres to it however Spanish driving is somewhat lacking when it comes to indication. Also the local authority in Inca appears to have littered the centre with crossings every 25 metres or so. There is a great train service to Palma which we used. However as we were located North of Inca all roads lead into Inca in order to get anywhere else on the island. We did not have the largest of cars however a majority of the streets were very narrow with cars parked at every angle and intersection.
Selva was a very welcoming typically Spanish town where the the local shop keepers were only too happy to help and communicate with broken Spanish and English with no uncomfortable feelings .
There was a larger selection of premises and shopping 10 minutes away in Inca town also where you can buy fresh produce and fish and meat from the local market in the town centre.
